Below are a few suggestions to help make your pregnancy go smoothly:
Non-Prescription Medications Which can be used during Pregnancy if needed
- Colds: Tylenol cold, Sudafed, Benadryl at night
- Cough Syrup: Robitussin
- Indigestion: Maalox, Mylanta, Tums
- Stool softener: Colace
- Hemorrhoids: Anusol, Preparation H
- Headache: Extra Strength Tylenol
- Nausea/ Vomiting: Ginger Ale
If Symptoms persist for more than 12 hours, please call our office. When in doubt, please call our office for any questions.
- If we don’t return your phone call after 30 minutes or 2 calls to our answering service, we may be performing a procedure or delivering a baby. Ask our answering service (732) 295-6924 to contact Labor and Delivery at Ocean Medical Center to see if that is the case.
- Please DO NOT get a 3-d ultrasound since we cannot guarantee the safety of the procedure or follow-up.
- Please call your phone company to Unblock incoming unlisted phone numbers. A block on your phone may be in place without your knowledge and may impede the physicians from returning your call promptly. This can easily be done by dialing *87 on your home phone.
